Lean Implementation Manager
With a qualification of Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering and Diploma of Logistics Management, Sandy has had over 20 years experience in the food processing industry in a variety of senior roles. Sandy currently works within the Innoven Division of GOTAFE as Lean Implementation Manager after formalising his industry knowledge via the Lean Certification Program at the University of Kentucky. His practical knowledge in manufacturing has been built from working in engineering, reliability, production and plant management roles in both large and small food processing businesses including Mars Australia, Goodman Fielder and Terra Harvest Australia. Sandy has a passion for making a difference. He works as a change agent at senior management levels to improve business performance. Sandy's role at Innoven encompasses the application of best practice thinking to measured training outcomes and business performance. He has facilitated the take up of lean principles by businesses throughout North East of Victoria. His drive to build applied knowledge training in supply chain has lead to the development of a unique training program based on the latest thinking in lean supply chain fulfilment stream thinking.
