PROFILE - Shane Hellwege
Manager - Food Industry Centre
Shane has an extensive background in education across a number of sectors, but primarily in the Vocational Education and Training arena. Coupled with this is significant industry experience gained through several years working with Kraft Foods in a training role and eight years of production management in the plastics industry.
Shane's qualifications include a Bachelor of Science Education, a Graduate Diploma in Adult and Workplace Education and a Diploma in Competitive Manufacturing. He is a member of the International Society for Performance Improvement.
His current role at Innoven is Manager - Food and Dairy, with specific responsibility for management of training delivery in food processing, company-based dairy programs and other tailored programs within the Goulburn Valley region.
The development of programs in Competitive or Lean Manufacturing has been a significant priority for Shane, with programs now operating across a number of organisations within different industry sectors.
