PROFILE - Mick Pettifer
Industry Trainer
Mick joined Innoven in 2006 after 18 years with Nestle Australia, working in production, training and logistics and was a facilitator in the implementation of continuous improvement in the workplace.
His role at Innoven includes onsite delivery and assessment of both certificate level and industry specific training in food safety, quality and OH&S. Mick is also involved in resource and assessment tool writing to suit the specific needs of industry.
Mick also operates the plant and equipment in the Food Industry Centre Pilot Plant as required by industry for trials and R&D work.
Mick has a Certificate IV in TAA Workplace Assessment & Training, Graduate Diploma of Education (VET) and has completed the Course in OH&S Representatives and Supervisors. He also holds a current forklift drivers licence.
