PROFILE - Karen Norton
Industry Trainer
Karen has extensive experience in the hospitality industry in both South Africa and Australia. She originally trained in South Africa completing a Diploma and gaining Guilds London Patisserie and Commercial Cookery certificates.
Before moving to Australia Karen worked at the Plettenburg Bay Hotel and was Head Chef at Biz Café, both in South Africa. She was also a trainer at The Skills Academy, South Africa and was Banqueting Manager for Fedics Corporation.
Karen has experience in the local hospitality industry and joined GOTAFE as a Sessional Teacher in 2006.
