PROFILE - Jenny Penfold
Industry Trainer
Jenny has always had a passion for food and food science, so moving from hospitality to training in the food industry in 2000 was a great use of her skills.
Since 2000 Jenny has delivered training in various food industries throughout Melbourne including dairy, baked products, confectionary, frozen foods and noodle making.
Jenny's responsibilities include working with trainees in food companies, providing training and assessment as required from the Food Processing package and developing resources tailored to specific industries. Jenny also liaises with companies with the goal of meeting their training requirements and improving overall production performance.
Her qualifications include a Bachelor of Education, Graduate Diploma of Human Nutrition, Workcover Health and Safety course, and a Certificate IV in Workplace Training & Assessment.
Jenny is also studying the Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety and is updating her Workplace Training & Assessment Certificate to the new TAA04 qualification.
